Network Traffic Rate Limiting with eBPF/XDP Coding Lab Now Available
Last week, I released the first eBPF tutorial about XDP, focusing on fundamentals like the attachment point, capturing packets, and parsing them.
That was a good starting point, but building useful programs also requires other eBPF features such as maps and helper functions.
The complexity of real applications naturally depends on the problem, but one of the simplest—and also one of the first—examples I built early on was packet rate limiting.
